Responsibilities ofRetail Operations Associate:

• Welcome and attend to customers promptly: Approach and greet customers without delay, offering support and managing multiple customer inquiries effectively.
• Understanding and fulfilling customer requirements involve evaluating their needs through product education, responding to inquiries, guiding them towards items, and providing suggestions. Participate in upselling techniques while staying updated on stock availability.
• Publicize store activities and offers: Keep customers in the loop about ongoing store events, promotions, and exclusive happenings to enrich their shopping journey and boost revenue.
• Resolve customer complaints: Acknowledge and tackle customer problems by leveraging your expertise on the product to propose different options, with the goal of transforming refunds into product exchanges whenever feasible.
• Keep management updated on restocking merchandise, servicing needs, and customer feedback promptly.
• Support team and company objectives aligning with the team to reach both store and corporate goals, fostering a beneficial and efficient workplace atmosphere.

Qualification ofRetail Operations Associate

• At least 16 years old
• Able to accommodate a versatile work timetable
• Comfortable with or open to acquiring skills in technology, including cash registers and handheld devices
• Skilled in effectively interacting and connecting with clients
• Capable of managing customer interactions and potential problems in a polite and skilled manner
• Utilize fundamental techniques for gathering information to resolve issues
• Acquiring procedural knowledge through hands-on training and experience is essential for learning new skills

Essential Job Functions ofRetail Operations Associate:

• Regularly manage a cash register
• Regularly lift items weighing up to 25 pounds and place or remove goods at heights ranging from 5 to 10 feet
• Regularly climbing up and down ladders to access and store inventory items
• Regularly adjust body position to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop, both while working in the stock room and assisting customers on the sales floor
• Regularly interact and share information with clients both over the phone and in person at the retail outlet, as well as with supervisors and colleagues. It is crucial to effectively convey precise details during these interactions
• Regularly navigate the sales area to help customers and transfer items between the stockroom and sales floor for storage and retrieval of products
• Flexibility in working hours is essential to accommodate the operational requirements of the organization, encompassing daytime, evening, weekend shifts, and potential overnight stays and journeys as necessary
• It is necessary to recognize and differentiate between email and paper directives concerning the organization of products, staff timetables, and established operational protocols
• It is required to maintain an immobile and vertical stance for 80% of the duration
