Chewy is hirig a  Area Maager  for our Fulfillmet Ceter i Ocala, Florida! This idividual will be resposible for the directio of hourly associates i the proper receivig, ad storage shippig of product.  Resposible for meetig ad exceedig established productivity, labor ad quality objectives. We believe i excellece i all we do ad accept othig less! You'll be successful i this role because you're passioate about supportig your team ad recogize their effort ad achievemets.

What you'll do: 

• Hadle the fast pace associated with day-to-day operatios i a fast-paced E-Commerce distributio eviromet ad maitai a positive, motivatig leadership presece

• Esure that stadards are established ad followed

• Work actively with associates to esure success

• Maage accurate uloadig ad put away of cotaiers i timely basis to esure cotaiers are retured without additioal charges ad 100% accurate

• Esure that proper orietatio ad traiig occurs for hourly associates ad verify stadards are uderstood ad adhered to

• Observe employee activities ad provide feedback ad positive reiforcemet o safety, quality of work, productivity, ad demeaor

• Hadle employee questios, cocers, ad follow up with the itet to maitai a positive work eviromet ad ear trust

• Drive Stadards through the day by motivatig, teachig, ad holdig Team Members accoutable to kow stadards ad positive reiforcemet of the correct behavior

• Actively develop ad promote ope lies of commuicatio to maitai ad develop positive employee relatios, ecourage employee ivolvemet i the process, ad recogize employees for their accomplishmet ad ideas

• Complete ecessary documetatio for trackig attedace, productivity, behavior, ad safety

• Be able to dive deep withi a process ad drive process improvemets through associate feedback, aalyzig data, ad up chaelig chages to obtai departmetal goals

What you'll eed: 

• Associate Degree - Bachelors’ degree preferred

• 2-4 years’ supervisory experiece preferably i a warehouse or distributio ceter eviromet

• Excellet iterpersoal skills, oral ad writte commuicatio skills, ad strog attetio to detail

• Itermediate skills i workig o computers – Microsoft office package ad time keepig software solutios

• Ability to work flexible schedule to iclude ights ad weekeds if busiess require it

• Positio may require travel

• Bous: Biligual i Spaish
