Responsibilities of Sales Team Member:

• Greet customers promptly and offer assistance: Approach customers quickly with a welcoming demeanor, providing support and efficiently handling multiple customer interactions.
• Stay informed about products and services: Stay up-to-date on the latest product offerings and services to provide accurate information to customers. Be prepared to answer questions and offer recommendations based on your knowledge.
• Communicate store events and promotions: Share information with customers regarding store events, promotions, and special activities to enhance their shopping experience and stimulate sales.
• Resolving customer inquiries: Attend to customer issues by applying your product knowledge to offer alternative solutions, with the objective of converting returns into exchanges when appropriate.
• Provide management with regular updates on merchandise restocking, service requirements, and customer feedback promptly.
• Assist in achieving team and company aspirations by collaborating effectively to enhance both store and organizational objectives.

Qualification of Sales Team Member:

• At least 16 years old
• Available for work with flexibility in scheduling
• Skilled in or motivated to understand technology, such as cash registers and hand-held devices
• Demonstrates proficiency in customer communication and interaction
• Adept at managing customer interactions and addressing issues/concerns with courtesy and skill
• Implement basic problem-solving skills through gathering relevant information
• Obtaining procedural knowledge through experiential learning in a work setting is important for skill enhancement

Essential Job Functions of Sales Team Member:

• Regularly conduct transactions using the cash register
• Commonly carry merchandise of up to 25 lbs and place or remove it at elevations between 5 to 10 feet
• Consistently navigating ladders to store and retrieve merchandise
• Consistently modify body posture to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop, as required in the stockroom and while attending to customers on the sales floor
• Consistently interact and exchange information with customers through phone calls and in-person meetings at the store, as well as with managers and coworkers. It is important to provide accurate information during these exchanges
• Continuously roam around the sales floor to assist customers and transport goods to and from the stockroom for storage purposes
• Successful candidates must demonstrate the capacity to be flexible with their work hours to fulfill the business's needs, which may involve working during the day, in the evenings, on weekends, and potentially overnight with the requirement for travel
• The aptitude to identify and differentiate between email communication and printed instructions regarding the organization of merchandise, staff schedules, and standard operating procedures is important
• The necessity is to uphold a stationary and upright posture for at least 80% of the total time
