Responsibilities of Retail Team member:

• Quickly greet and aid customers: Approach customers promptly with a welcoming attitude, offering assistance and managing multiple customer requests proficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace: Keep your work area neat and organized to facilitate efficient customer service. Ensure that products are properly displayed and easy to access, contributing to a pleasant shopping atmosphere.
• Advertise store promotions and events: Notify customers about current store events, deals, and special engagements to enrich their shopping experience and encourage purchases.
• Addressing customer grievances: Respond to customer issues promptly by leveraging your understanding of the product to suggest alternative solutions, with the intention of converting returns into exchanges where applicable.
• Regularly update management on the replenishment of goods, servicing essentials, and customer comments without delay.
• Engage in collaboration with the team to meet store and company aims, thereby enhancing the workplace ambiance for increased productivity.

Qualification of Retail Team member:

• At least 16 years old
• Ready to work on a schedule that can be adapted to various demands
• Adapt at using or prepared to grasp the use of technology, like cash registers and handheld gadgets
• Capable of engaging with a diverse range of clientele
• Proficient in addressing customer interactions and potential issues with respect and expertise
• Employ simple strategies to gather information and find solutions to problems
• Learning procedural knowledge through hands-on experience during job training is crucial for skill acquisition

Essential Job Functions of Retail Team member:

• Operate the cash register on a regular basis
• Frequently transport merchandise that is up to 25 lbs in weight and place or retrieve items at heights up to 5-10 feet
• Repeatedly going up and down ladders to handle the stocking and retrieval of items
• Frequently alter body stance to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop, within various areas such as the stockroom and the sales floor
• Regularly engage in communication and information exchange with clients over the phone and in-store, as well as with colleagues and managers. It is important to convey precise information during these interactions
• Consistently traverse the sales floor to support customers and move items to and from the stockroom for storage and display
• The job necessitates being adaptable with work hours to cater to the business's requirements, covering daytime, evening, weekend shifts, and even overnight schedules and travel if the circumstances dictate
• Being capable of identifying and understanding written directives through email and hard copies regarding the layout of merchandise, schedules for associates, and established procedures is crucial
• Being capable of being in a fixed and upright pose should account for 80% of the time
