What youll do :
- Safe and efficient operation of Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and other material handling equipment is paramount to the successful transportation of goods to their intended storage and staging locations.
- Operating forklift machines is just one aspect of the forklift operator's role as they are also required to perform other warehouse tasks such as labeling, restocking, creating boxes, loading and unloading trailers, and transferring stored goods to different areas.
- To guarantee an efficient and accurate customer delivery process, orders must be fulfilled and organized with the utmost care.
- Developing accurate shipment records for in-country conveyance of goods.
- The top priority is to provide exceptional customer service and pay close attention to every detail while filling each customer order.
- It is critical to have the appropriate amount of time earmarked for the undertaking:
- Individuals who have crossed the age of 17 are eligible.
- Adhering to our safety guidelines and procedures is crucial in promoting a hazard-free workplace.
- Interested in undergoing training for the proper use of PIT equipment such as Reach Truck, Order Pick, Dock Stocker, Turret Truck, Double Walkie Rider, Walkie Stacker, or Movexx/Amigo.
Physical job requirements encompass a range of tasks that rely on physical abilities:
- Walking up to 2 miles is a regular part of the job requirement.
- Regularly require the ability to lift objects weighing as much as 50 pounds.
- Choose to work alongside others when lifting heavy objects, up to a weight of 70 pounds with the help of a team lift.
- People usually limit themselves to lifting up to 70 pounds through collaborative lifting.
- Standing, pushing, pulling, carrying, squatting, and kneeling are the main movements that are integral to various physical tasks.
- Navigate the stairs by ascending and descending them.
