As an assistant, your assigned tasks and responsibilities will vary depending on the needs of your employer or supervisor. However, some common tasks that you may be responsible for include managing schedules and appointments, organizing paperwork and documents, conducting research, and communicating with clients or other stakeholders
Responsible for managing the Accounts Receivables department in support of Albertsons Pharmacy, including oversight of processing to ensure efficient and accurate completion of tasks.
The job will be with a current arrangement that includes working both remotely and on-site.
Main responsibilities:
- Evaluate standardized and bespoke reports and suggest corrective measures to ensure accuracy and validity
- Oversee pharmacy reconciliation processes of third-party operations to ensure compliance with established business policies
- The process of accumulating and adjusting book accruals and true-ups involves the careful review of various high-level processes to ensure accuracy
- Provide support to Inmar in addressing the issue of problematic carriers through intensified collection efforts and resolution of unapplied cash problems
- The department requires someone with both accounting expertise and an eagerness to take initiative and become a key resource
- Assist colleagues who require help and set an example of positivity and encouragement for others
- Efficiently managing daily sales, general ledger feeds and bank files requires expert balancing skills
- Complete account reconciliations
- Follow the instructions to record transactions in the general ledger accurately and timely while maintaining the integrity of financial records
- Complete the necessary steps in the accounts payable process as outlined in company policy and procedures, making sure to adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines
- Offering assistance to both Inmar and Albertsons' internal customers is crucial to ensure that all operations run smoothly. This entails addressing any issues or inquiries they may have in an efficient and effective manner
- Meeting the demands of internal and external audit requests is crucial for any organization to maintain credibility and ensure compliance with regulations
- Oversee the implementation of complex initiatives as needed
- If required, the candidate possesses the ability to assume other accounting posts in the division.
- This role can operate as a lower-level supervisory position or as a substitute manager if the primary manager is unavailable
