What youll do :
- Goods are safely and efficiently transported to storage and staging areas by operating Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and other material handling equipment in a responsible and competent manner.
- Forklift operators have a wide range of roles in the warehouse that go beyond operating the machine. These functions include labeling, restocking, creating boxes, loading and unloading trailers, and relocating stored items to various places.
- In order to ensure an efficient and accurate customer delivery process, orders must be properly fulfilled and organized.
- Generating correct documentation for inland transport cargo.
- The primary aim is to prioritize excellent customer service and handle every order carefully to meet the expectations of our customers.
- Possible safety equipment, such as goggles or gloves, should be on hand:
- Any person below 18 years of age is not admissible.
- To guarantee a safe and secure workplace, it is essential to understand and adhere to our safety guidelines and protocols.
- Prepared to receive instruction on the safe and efficient use of various PIT equipment, including Reach Truck, Order Pick, Dock Stocker, Turret Truck, Double Walkie Rider, Walkie Stacker, and Movexx/Amigo.
In some industries, employees are expected to be able to lift heavy objects or operate machinery on a regular basis:
- The position involves covering a 2-mile distance by foot on every shift.
- Regularly require the ability to lift objects weighing as much as 50 pounds.
- Utilize the optional team lift method when lifting heavy items that weigh up to 70 pounds.
- Employing a group lift technique is typically reserved for loads that weigh no more than 70 pounds.
- Standing, pressing, pulling, transporting, crouching, and bending are the primary movements needed in physical tasks.
- Use the stairs as a means of transportation and move up and down.
