What You'll Do:

• Empower the care team to deliver a uparalleled cliet experiece.

• Develop a rapport with cliets ad determie their eeds ad wishes.

• Perform physical examiatios ad diagostic/medical/surgical/detal procedures i a way that will deliver the highest quality care while miimizig patiet stress ad discomfort.

• Able to perform more complex surgeries ad mastered the ability to provide care of complicated cases.

• Explai physical examiatio fidigs ad commuicate to the cliet a diagosis of the pet’s coditio; geerate ad preset a treatmet pla for the pet to the cliet.

• Educate cliets o prevetative health care, icludig vaccies ad appropriate utritioal products.

• Maitai cliet/patiet medical/surgical records ad make certai all ecessary logs are kept up to date through established protocols; assist colleagues i follow-up ad future maagemet of the patiet.

• Stay up to date with ew medical iformatio ad chages i veteriary medicie, atted cotiuig educatio meetigs.

• Assist i the developmet of the paraprofessioal team to esure the delivery of the highest quality care ad exceptioal cliet service.

• Positively represets the cliic i the professioal commuity ad to the public.

• Support Veteriary Techicias ad Veteriary Assistats with escalatios as eeded.

• Participatio i self-developmet courses ad Chewy Vet Care required compliace traiig.

• Perform related duties ad assigmets as directed by maagemet.

• Positio may require some travel.

What You'll Need:

• A Doctor of Veteriary Medicie degree (DVM, VMD) or equivalet is required

• Active State licese i good stadig, DEA licese ad other state credetials as required

• 2 - 3 years’ experiece i geeral medicie ad surgery; residecy or itership traied

• The ability to multi-task with a high degree of itegrity ad accoutability.

• Have exemplary listeig ad problem-solvig skills, strog verbal ad writte commuicatio skills.

• Is comfortable collaboratig with other veteriary professioals, utilizig a team-orieted eviromet.

• Is passioate about helpig people ad pets with empathy ad excellet customer service focus.

• Demostrated ability to multi-task ad perform well i a face paced, self-starter eviromet.

Physical Job Requiremets:

• Stadig or walkig up to 80% per shift.

• Frequetly lift up to 50 pouds.

• Frequetly lift up to 70 pouds usig a optioal team lift.

• Rarely lift greater tha 70+ pouds usig a team lift.

• Stad, push, pull, carry, squat, ad keel.
